Spurred on by the arrival of Global Running Day four teams of lawyers from Hewitsons Solicitors have committed to join Chariots of Fire, the region’s longest running Charitable relay race.
With 24 Solicitors ready to run Hewitsons is pulling out all the stops in order to raise as much money as possible for this year’s official charity, Cambridgeshire Community Foundation, who are raising much needed funds to help Children living with disadvantage.
Paul Ross, Residential Property Executive at Hewitsons said: “I am excited to see how well our runners perform on the day. Chariots of Fire is a great event to be part of and the Hewitsons teams have entered every year.
We aim to raise as much money as possible for Cambridgeshire Community Foundation and hopefully finish the race within a very good time”
Race Director, Charles Hewitson said: “Chariots of Fire has become an important date in the Cambridge calendar, with the event bringing together numerous corporates, individuals and Colleges. The friendly competition and camaraderie makes the atmosphere at Chariots of Fire a truly unique experience.
The race is a superb opportunity for people to get together and enter a team with their work colleagues or friends, as well as to raise money for the Official Charity, Cambridgeshire Community Foundation.“
The race starts and finishes on Queens’ Green on Sunday 16th September. Team registrations close on Wednesday 12 September at 5pm unless all 400 teams have registered before that date.
