Cambridge Newspapers Limited (CNL) publish the Cambridge News/Cambridge Evening News, the Weekly News series of newspapers, the Cambridge Town Crier, Property News, the Cambridgeshire Journal and Cambridge Style magazine.
CNL is wholly owned by Yattendon Investment Trust (YIT).
YIT is a private company, which in turn is owned by the Iliffe family. It has operations in the UK and Canada. Its interests include newspaper publishing, television, electronic media, marinas and property.
Iliffe News & Media, a major part of YIT, comprises of four regional newspaper publishing companies

It is also the major shareholder of Channel Television.
In total, Iliffe News & Media publishes three evening newspapers, seven paid-for weekly newspapers, 22 free newspapers plus 7 Sunday free newspapers, 1 quarterly & 9 monthly glossy magazines and 24 related websites together with a number of specialist niche titles.
With a combined circulation and distribution of almost 1.2 million copies per week, the portfolio of titles extends throughout Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Warwickshire .
Iliffe News & Media now ranks in the top ten regional newspaper publishers in the country in terms of copies sold or distributed.
Channel Television holds the ITV licence for the Channel Islands. The station remains one of the three remaining independent broadcasters in the UK outside of the Carlton/Granada ITV Network serving 150,000 people in 54,000 homes across the Channel Islands.
The group also owns Marina Developments Limited, the UK’s leading marina operator, with 18 marinas collectively offering over 6,000 individual berths.
The Yattendon Group has operated in Vancouver through Westminster Management Corporation and predecessor companies since November 1925. The company owns and develops properties in British Columbia and the west coast of the USA through direct ownership, limited partnerships and joint ventures.
